This is a Decatur Genesis Handheld Directional (GHD) K-Band Radar Gun.  This radar is in good physical condition with typical signs of use due to normal use and storage. All pictures are of the actual unit you will receive.  This is a very nice small, compact and light radar.  Directional units will report of traffic is moving

The unit is powered by a standard automotive power jack (12vdc).  It powers on and passes all self tests. I aimed it at several moving objects and it was able to record speed. Unit reports accurate speed for test tuning forks (
none included
). The LCD display is working properly, no missing elements with a working backlight. All the buttons are functional.  This unit has the "FASTest" target tracking option installed as well, it can be turned on through the setup menu or simply by pressing the "FAST" button.
The power cord insulation on the unit was cracking near the stress connector, In order to fix this I had to cut about 2" off the cable, removed some of the damaged insulation and re-solder the connectors in the unit. I taped up the cable to give it some rigidity near the connector to prevent it from happening again, that's why there's some tape on the cable near the connector on the unit.
This is one of the few radar units that the end-user can change standards from MPH to KPH, simply go through the setup options on change from MPH using the buttons on the back of the unit. No need for re-programming or sending back to the factory.
