    BELGIUM P# 142 – 100 FRANCS – ND(1982-94) – UNC #1
    This note grades better than a simple “UNC”. A grade of Choice UNC might also be too low, I believe GEM UNC is a reasonable starting grade. I say this for the following reasons:
    ·
    The white parts of the note are super white with no signs of handling and is free of any extraneous marks or smudges
    ·
    The edges are clear of any nicks or any visible detractions
    ·
    The margins are uniform and wide
    ·
    Absolutely no signs of a single fold
    The only value I have for this note is in the grade “UNC” which is and that is about 15 years old. I have no idea of what its “Today’s” valuation would be for the grades Ch UNC or Gem UNC but I believe it is more than my asking price.
