Description
This offer includesa c.1850-1875 Antique German Parlour Guitar. The instrument was made in Markneukirchen Germany. The brand is unidentified and there is no label nor serial no. on the instrument. The bridge is a modern replacement, and the bridge pins are not original either. There are two significant restorations done on the top of the instrument. The top is made of spruce and the back and sides are made of Brazilian rosewood. The inside of this instrument has been lined up with spruce. The sound hole has genuine mother of pearl inlays. The guitar is in perfect playing conditions, and has an amazing sound for being such a small instrument. The guitar is meant to be played with gut strings. The steel strings in the images have been loosened to prevent damage. It will come in an appropriate case for protection.
