    Description

This 1973 Ford Mustang is an H-code convertible that I purchased from a family that approximately owned the car for thirty years ! Subsequent work is said to have included a tune-up along with replacing the muffler, heater core, and braking components. The car is finished in brown over color-coordinated vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a 351ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a black soft top, 14” wheels, a Ram Air hood, a front spoiler, and an AM/FM push-button stereo. This Mustang convertible is now offered with spare parts and a clean Wisconsin title.
The seller states that the car was repainted in its current shade of brown before it was acquired by his father, and it is accented by black stripes. Features include a power-operated black soft top, a Ram Air hood, a front spoiler, body-color mirrors, and a chrome rear bumper with overriders. Paint chips and blemishes around the car.
Steel 14” wheels are mounted with 225/70 Firestone Firehawk SS20 tires with raised-white lettering. Three wire wheel covers have been removed and will accompany the car. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drums out back, and brake components and the flex hoses are said to have been replaced in 2020.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in brown vinyl with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. A clock is mounted in the center console, and additional appointments include a lockable glove box and a push-button AM/FM stereo. The heater core is said to have been replaced in 2020. Wear on the carpet and side panels. The H-code 351ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 177 horsepower. The seller states a tune-up was performed in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed FMX automatic transmission. The seller states that the muffler was replaced in 2020, and notes that the left-side floorboard has rust holes.
The vehicle identification number reveals that the car is a 1973 Mustang convertible built at the Dearborn, Michigan plant and powered by a 351ci V8 with a two-barrel carburetor and Ram Air induction. The data tag shown above partially decodes as follows:
