Thank for looking at our great looking 1965 Mustang convertible. This car is orange with a white convertible top and a reddish/burgundy interior. It runs better than it looks and it does really look good. This vehicle has a straight 6 cylinder, 3 speed transmission, 1st gear is straight down to the left, 2nd gear is straight up to the right, and 3rd gear is straight down. The front end is tight and the exhaust is quiet. It starts easily, it sounds great and when you're driving the car with the top down and the boot on, you hear zero rattles. I bought this car from a Ford enthusiast and he purchased it and basically only drove it to car shows. He sold it because it was one of many cars he had and he was thinning out the herd. I also would like to mention that when viewing this car I'd also like you to check the Flickr slideshow below where there's over 100 more pictures of this beautiful classic.
I'd also like to mention that this car is 56 years old and its been touched up over the years. It's a great driver. The pictures do describe the car well. The underneath of the vehicle is solid, as you can see in the pictures. The mileage reads 9K miles, so we all know that's exceeded, and the gas gauge presently does not work, but you can fill the tank up to the tippy top and there's zero leaks. This car has a non-factory carburetor for better performance going down the road. I do have the original carburetor cover that comes with the car when it was new. The one that's put on presently is a custom one because the original one will not fit with this carburetor.
The tires looks good on the car and the radio does not play. I don't know if it's a fuse, radio or speaker but we haven't even looked at it because whoever buys this car I am sure will put their own radio in it.
It will need a rear window.
If you're looking at the interior of this vehicle, you can see there's no holes anywhere for speakers. It would be nice if the new owner could put in a new stereo system without putting holes in the panels to keep it original, as it is. Just be the last highest bidder in 7 days when the auction is over and you'll have won yourself a really nice Mustang that's definitely gets looks, top up or down, going down the road. Please call Stan at 216-598-7011 if interested.
