    Description

For sale is my very early San Jose built 1965 Mustang Fastback C code. Car isn't perfect as you can see but the frame is solid and it runs and drives great. I've been driving this car just about every day for the past couple months in the 100 degree kansas heat and it runs strong and doesn't overheat. It does leak a little oil and transmission fluid though. Missing a few interior items you can see in the video. One small rust hole in the frame rail up front in the engine bay on each side (in video) and a bubble on each side in the rear, they can be repaired though and not replaced. Car is very original, down to the original exhaust. I have the original '64 dated radiator in a box (developed a small leak). Original trunk was stolen in the past so I replaced it with a new one. At some point it also received '66 shelby wheels. Roof has no dents. New front windshield and all glass is good. New gas tank and fuel line. Brakes have been rebuilt and converted to original front disc brakes. 1" shelby drop in the front. New tires. Forgot to take the blue tape off of the car, those were just my notes from testing the compression and doing an alignment. Clean title.
Message me with any questions and see the video below for more details and to see it running.

Edit: A little background on the car: I found this car local in Wichita Kansas where it had been sitting since it's last registration in 2002. I acquired the car, did all the usual maintenance and tune up details, and now it's back on the road. Based on the findings in the glovebox; It appears that the car was bought new from Honolulu ford in Hawaii, then traveled to the Denver Colorado area, then Wichita Kansas as there were maps of the military bases for each of those locations. I'll try to update the listing with a photo of the original owners manual with the original buyer's name in it.
